Meet this week's maker, Julia from Foreversonflowers&more!

Working with everything from fabric and twine to wood and faux florals, Julia creates the loveliest home decor for each and every season. Her business name is in memory of her oldest son (ForeverSONflowers) who loved sunflowers and all things beautiful. What kind of products do you sell?
Seasonal home decor pieces.

How did you get started?
After losing my son I was drowning in grief and needed an outlet. I began taking floral design courses at Durham College and fell in love with being creative and making beautiful things. Creating became a form of grief therapy for me.

Why are you a maker?
I love being creative with my hands, as it helps keep my mind busy.

What inspires you?
My kids inspire me.

All of my mini decor pieces!

What is your most popular product?
My most popular products are my messy bun pumpkins, fabric decor and stamped bookstacks.

What's one fun fact that someone might not know about you?
I am a huge tomboy! I make florals, but I love to use power tools!
